Wandering Retreats

A comic about the transience and failures of youth and the preemptive nostalgia of looking forward at all the years still to come after the disappointments of the present. The story is told through two character's failures, one in love and the other in friendship. Their two intertwining narratives are connected by a mythic island between two halves of a city that seems to hold the answers to all their hopes and dreams.
